Paris is the capital and most populous city of France. It is situated on the River Seine, in the north of the country, at the heart of the Île-de-France region.
One of my favorite destinations.

Our stop after that was this adorable little French Tea & Pastry Cafe, Ladurée.
There are branches all over the world, but it originated in France.
We all had to try their specialty, the macarons.

Ladurée is a French luxury bakery and sweets maker house created in 1862. It is one of the top premier sellers of the double-decker macaron, fifteen thousand of which are sold every day. They are still one of the best known makers of macarons in the world.
