What Comes to Mind

Thanksgiving.

turkey. football. parade and all its cheesy glory. traffic. starbucks coffee in christmas cups. family. catching up. laughter. desserts. with whip cream. cold air. crunchy leaves. happiness.

Thats what comes to mind when I think of Thanksgiving.

I just can’t imagine not having this holiday tradition.

I am extremely lucky to have gotten this working DXB – SFO flight home over Thanksgiving!

(I will be the one skipping onto the plane and down the aisles teehee.)

Two years

It’s been two years since I came to dubai. Didn’t think I would last that long, yet here I am!
One more year to go.

Kawaii

Kawaii. It means cute in Japanese. And it’s my new favorite word!

In almost two years of flying, this was the first time I made it to Japan. And it did not disappoint. For all the reasons I dislike China, Japan is the complete opposite. Clean city. Respectful people. Yummy food. Facebook and Instagram (just kidding. A little.)

I need to come back when I have more than 24 hours to spend here. And not just for Tokyo Disneyland! (They have a cat cafe. How cool is that.)
